FINANCIAL LITERACY FORUM
We hope that everyone enjoyed their Martin Luther King Jr. Day. MLK Day is meant to be a time of reflection on the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His life not only brought about dramatic change for African-Americans through the Civil Rights Movement, but Dr. King was also starting down the road towards economic empowerment before his life was tragically cut short. In remembrance and honor of his legacy, we must strive to continue to work towards his dream for our country and our community. Strather Academy is all about playing our part to continue Dr. King's legacy, which is why we will be spending the rest of the month highlighting and sharing his words of wisdom and his dreams. We invite you to our Financial Literacy Forum on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 1pm to learn how you can start making your money work for you to end the plight of poverty in or communities.
